The Studio
studio lindhorst-emme+hinrichs is run by Lea Hinrichs and Sven Lindhorst-Emme. It is specialized in graphic design and typography, especially book and poster design but also Corporate Design and websites. Most of the works are of artistic or cultural origin, such as photo books, artist’s catalogues, vinyl packaging, posters for exhibitions and Corporate Designs for Museums and Publishers.
The studio’s work has been shown at many international exhibitions, such as in Russia, America, China, Japan, Taiwan and France to name but a few countries. They have also won international awards such as the TDC New York and TOKYO TDC Award, 100 Best Posters, Best German Book Award, ADC Bronce Nail and much more.
Lea Hinrichs, born in Northern Germany, started working in graphic design after finishing school in 2007. Where she studied media design. She continued her studies in graphic design at the University of the Arts in Bremen. After graduating in 2015 she moved to Berlin where she is currently living and working.
Sven Lindhorst-Emme first trained as a lithographer and worked as such for 10 years. Afterwards he studied graphic and communication design and moved to Berlin in 2011, where he founded his studio in the same year. In addition to lectures and workshops, both nationally and internationally, he also teaches book design and communication design at the Lette-Verein Berlin and as a lecturer at always different colleges and universities.
Sven Lindhorst-Emme is a member of the “Type Directors Club New York” and also of “100 Beste Plakate”.
